Hello!

I’m Shelley (aka Dr.M)

As an educator of almost 30 years, I have taught almost every Life Science course from Biology to Forensic Science to Anatomy & Physiology. I’ve taught high school and college, and even served as an instructional coach working with teachers for 5 years.

But, I discovered, my heart will forever be in the classroom with students so that’s where I returned several years ago. I just love making science come alive for them!

My true passion (& my doctorate) is developing projects and resources to help teachers.

The resources and projects I share are used in my own classroom, with my own students. My goal with my own classes is to make science real, relevant, and engaging for students.

I never want to hear them say, “When will I ever use this?” Instead, my aim is to hear things like, “Let’s figure this out!”
